My first artifact will be my mini-course “How Statistics and Analytics Impact Modern Baseball” which can be categorized as a technology and curriculum product. This artifact was developed as part of the course IDT 8030: Designing Blended Online Learning. This course was developed on Canvas LMS and it showcases my ability to implement a learning experience that follows careful planning and implements a wide array of technology and learner experiences. This course has been refined twice so it really shows some of my best work in a more academic setting.

My second artifact is a course I developed using Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline to address a gap our sales representatives had with diffusing customer conflicts. I conducted a full needs analysis to determine what the problem was, what specific behaviors needed to change, and whether training would address these problems. I collaborated with subject matter experts (SMEs) to help create meaningful content. This 5-module course contains several multimedia products I designed myself as well as a full scenario-based assessment using Articulate Storyline at the end. I included a video preview of my design process and a sample of the course. This sample is included in this portfolio with permission from Endress+Hauser.

My third artifact will be a course I developed on Articulate Rise titled “Oil and Gas Industry Pathway: Supplemental Resources” which can be categorized as a curriculum and technology product. This artifact was developed as part of my Co-Op experience with Endress+Hauser and it showcases my ability to use industry leading technology like Articulate and Adobe. Another big component of this artifact is the time I spent collaborating with subject matter experts (SME’s) to create content. This course shows my knowledge and skills translating seamlessly to a more adult and corporate environment. Click the header at the top to view the full course. My final artifact will be the Instructional Design Model I developed called “The TA Training Model” which can be categorized as a theoretical product. At one of my previous professional positions, I worked as a test administrator (TA) and this inspired me to develop a model for developing a training for a new TA as part of the course IDT 8010: Instructional Design. This model showcases my ability to complete relevant content and learner analysis prior to beginning any major project. My judicious approach to learning experience design is on full display with this artifact. Click the header at the top to view a justification for the design and effectiveness of this model.
